Vibrant New Orleans is a popular place to visit on Deep South USA holidays, as it is home to a rich history and distinctive culture. As one of the most unique cities in America, New Orleans plays host to a variety of exciting festivals and celebrations including Mardi Gras. The multicultural heritage of the city is reflected in the French Creole architecture which dominates some of the city. The French Quarter is the most famous and oldest part of New Orleans and is a joy to explore on a free day during our Deep South USA tours. Some of our holidays visit New Orleans during Mardi Gras where there is an array of parades and floats to enjoy. From New Orleans you may be able to enjoy a ride on the steamboat SS Natchez where you can experience jazz along with a delicious dinner.
